These mats are an attempt to use absolutely as much of the recovered material as we can.  Inevitabely, as we are making our other mat designs, we are left with smaller scraps of rope.  Rather than throw these scraps away, we keep them and eventually fold them into one of these mats.  The result is a completely unique mat that will never be exactly duplicated.
